Be completely inspired...

I have been following a new blog which is just awesome. The other awesome thing is that the author is a long time friend of mine. Unfortunately, we haven't been really close over the past few years, due to life and living situations, however, thanks to facebook, we have been able to keep up with each other somewhat. She has always been an amazing person who I have always admired, but since reading her blog I have seen how God has been working in her and how even MORE amazing she has become!

If you do nothing else today, you MUST MUST MUST check out The Story Of A Life Delighter!!!

028: almost there

Today I had a major chuck out of stuff in my bedside table and dressing table - there are only a few things left there that I am yet to find permanent housing for. I threw out photos, jewelry and dockets! Looking good in there now - only the wardrobe to go, but under the bed (on my side) is looking good! (Not that B is messy, its just that we have part of a drum kit under his side of the bed.)

Today we had the car in for a service and so instead of taking the pram to walk back from the shop both Asher and I walked and we stopped to look at the horses which we drive past almost every day, so today he got a more up close look which was nice for him. We may do the same later when we go to pick up the car if its not too late.

Grateful for new inspiration today. After last nights venture to see "Julie and Julia" I am slightly more inspired to cook - last night I didn't think I was - but after a whole night of dreaming of cooking I think I am now! I even gave coconut ice a crack this afternoon- the cooked recipe to!

Spring where it really is Spring...

Lately I have been thinking about Spring, which in turn, makes me think of living in Melbourne. The saying that you get "Four Seasons in one day"is terrificly true for this lovely city. I have been looking up photos of Melbourne and just reminising my life there.

the delectable Acland St in St.Kilda

It was a great little place to be able to lose yourself, find hidden treasures and do something different every weekend. And, for the creative person, its inspiring, imaginative and decadent. I loved that I could wear my jeans all year round and never get hot, and although it seems like an extra hassle, I really didn't mind packing my compact brolly and a light jacket everyday!

The colours, the smells, the people and the way of life was just amazing. I am very hopeful that one day (God willing), I, with my darling husband, son and any other offspring, will live there again. Ride trams to where ever we feel, watch outdoor movies in the park in Summer, rug up and go to the footy in winter, feel the crunching leaves underfoot in autum and especially, tip toe through the tulips once more with precious friends.
