023: with a sprinkling of love

This morning I threw a little Baby 'Sprinkle' for my sister Julie. I decided that, as it was her second baby that she didn't need the whole Baby 'Shower' as she had most of the stuff she already needed for a baby. As I was looking for ideas on the web for a Baby Shower for another friend, I stumbled across the idea of a baby 'Sprinkle' and knew it was just the thing for my baby sister Jules. We had a lovely morning in the surrounds of a garden cafe with coffee and cakes (and one amazing pavlova which Jules herself decided to have - will have to get a photo of it from *Anna* ) I am so looking forward to meeting this new addition to our family.

Todays throw out is an old jewelry box (well its actually not all that old only a few years) it is a lovely little glass box which was given to me as a gift, but it no longer can serve its purpose (except looking nice whilst collecting dust) as it is broken. How many things are there in my life like that? Can you relate to that? Do you have dust collectors which you don't need, don't serve a purpose and you have no idea why you have them?

Asher got to spend the morning with Daddy again, I have no idea what they did for the few hours I was gone, as it was raining and I think the tv may have been on alot. But this afternoon I connected up a few of his wooden train tracks so he could play with them (which he loves) and then a bit later it is off to church and he particularly loves "Hees House" which in translation means "Tree House" which is our childrens church. So he is one excited boy!

Today I am grateful that I picked such a lovely place for morning tea which accomodated us even though the skies opened up! It was such a lovely girly time!
