The title implies lovey dovey themes, however the heart flutters I had today are NOT of that variety!
First formalities out of the way -
Gone today - decorative vase and 3 church candles. (Thanks Helen for taking them off my hands!) Also, one wet box (see below how it got wet)
Asher - playdate went well with Mac! (More on this and Asher's activity in a sec)
Grateful - new fish seems to be ok...
Ok, sounding cryptical now... this morning we had a lovely time with our friends Helen and her son Mac. Asher and Mac played really well together, but I must admit I am always anxious when Asher plays with others that he may hurt them. (Have heard alot of "Waaaaaa", "what happened?", answer "Asher!" Oh dear) But thankfully the two boys left lots of room for Helen and I to chat - although I am sure we started more conversations than we actually finished, the way it is with most mums I guess.
This afternoon whilst I wasn't looking Asher grabbed his little ikea stool and stood on it to see the fish on the shelf! Yes I can hear you shudder... which is exactly what I did when I heard it happen, here is a brief account of about 30mins of today...
BANG! then sound of tiny beads (which turned out to be pebbles from fish tank!) Boy shaking, fish flayling about for dear life, water and stones all over the floor!
One quick thinkign mum to put fish back in left over water (thankfully there was some), one big cuddle for little boy, lots of "I doe doe dorwy mummy" (I so so sorry mummy), lots of "it's ok darling", one huge shammie and about 20mins of clean up.
Verdict - fish ok, boy happily playing and watching tv (knowing now not to play with fish - hopefully), and yes... one mummy with heart flutters-still!
