Sunday mornings for us are usually the slowest of the week. This morning Asher decided that, even though he hadn't gone to sleep last night till really late, he would get up just after 6am! Was not on the cards for us - we just called back to him to go back to bed and praise God he did!
We continued to get odd jobs done today like, finish the possum house, clean up some more (whilst getting rid of more things that don't have places) and finish some more Christmas presents! I got all 4 tutus finished today - Woo Hoo!
As I was fighting off a bit of a head cold (which I think is going to go) and stayed home to sleep it off, Asher got to go with daddy to church by himself! He also enjoyed playing with his trains whilst we did our jobs today. I'm very excited too, because tomorrow I am off to pick up some Thomas the Tank Engine wooden railway toys (2nd hand) that we are getting from a seller on Gumtree.
I was grateful for some quiet time to myself (even if I was asleep) and that I am a step closer to finishing Christmas presents!
