059 & 060: productive weekend with declutter depression!

Ok yesterday I didn't throw stuff out but I decluttered in sorts as I actually put the mess of fabric and pins into something useful! I made 3 crowns and part of a barn/house got put together. Actually doesn't sound like much but it honestly took me ALL day pretty much. Oh and I found more cleaning cloths to throw out!

Asher had a great day playing and helping Daddy! Was a winner day all round!

Grateful for Christmas presents almost done!

TODAY - WOW WOW WOW!!! Ok started with picking up a new bed suit complete with side tables and small dresser. So, we get it home and realise we now need to dismantle current bed, which we then start to set about... until... "where will we put this bed until we get rid of it?" I can't remember who asked it but this then led us to look in the spare room... EEEEEEEEEK! "OK, lets fix this room up and pull this spare bed apart and then there will be room for the other one and a chest of drawers as well!" (Pretty sure that was my brilliant idea! :P) Crazily my darling Brad agreed and so after much allen keying and unscrewing two beds were dismantled and then we set about putting up the new one!
(Ok in amongst this seemingly short and easy task we also managed to pull stuff out of the spare room and take photos of them to sell, and then put them back in the spare room, however we also took up the task of throwing more clothes, jewelry (me) and papers out! Did I mention I even put together Asher's kitchen ready for Christmas in there as well? So there was decluttering happening... sort of... most of the things I removed from our room unfortunately were found houses in other "too hard" baskets or drawers and am now kinda depressed as I feel like I am NEVER going to have a clear and simple house! [sigh])

Ok so what was Asher doing in amongst all this mess carrying on? We managed to distract him for most of the time with a Thomas the Tank Engine dvd daddy so smartly hired out yesterday, and when he was wanting to get into stuff where we were we cleverly asked him to help us by getting something which meant leaving the room to look for! Yes sneaky parents but efficient ones really. :)

I am grateful... ok this was hard as the house is STILL a huge mess and I know I have to do it on my own tomorrow... BUT... I am grateful my bed is made for me to climb into and drift off to a land of simple uncluttered dreams!!!
