Today was lovely, an outing to the beach which was SUPER windy and a little wet from the ocean spray. But it was all in fun for a special little girl's 4th birthday! Happy Birthday my fabulous, friend Elara!
Then this afternoon it was off to visit Krystsl and her kids to do some planning for Treehouse, our kids church. It's always nice to catch up with friends.
Tonight on an absolute whim, I knew I needed to clean the rumpas room which was just looking an awful sight and I was sick of seeing so many toys! After a few hours at it, I managed to throw out a decent handful (or should that say bagful) of toys. I also managed to hid at least 50% of what was left so that cars and kitchen things (oh and some books) are the only things accessible to my desructive and messy 2 year old.
Today I was grateful for Nurofen, which took my headache that I woke up with this morning, away.
Oh and one quick funny story about Asher, after his nap today (I was having one to) I heard him wake up whinging and crying like he does most days, and then proceed to do this whilst walking up and down the hallway twice. After that the crying stopped in his room. As I got up to see if he had found something to get him into mischief, I took a quick look in his room first and saw the cutest sight. He had laid down on his floor and gone back to sleep... oh I wish I had have taken a picture but I just stood there watching him sleep. Sigh, yes he sweet sometimes.
