Well maybe that should read... Out with a cold! Yes I am still unwell.
I just want to say thank you to Talia who noticed that I wasn't here... always nice to know you're missed. Also if you get a chance - go check out her blog, it is a fave of mine and I love her last post on her embrodied tree.
Ok, so no decluttering and plenty of slothing around the house. Well I did manage a few trips to the shops and I am so glad I did, especially yesterday!
I ran into a lovely friend of mine, Sheril, who I haven't seen since I lived at the coast about oh I think 5 years ago. We keep in semi regular contact on Facebook but it was so nice to be able to sit and chat to her over an improptu coffee/playdate at the shops. Last time I saw her she had only had her daughter and now she has 3 kids (two boys). Asher just adored them and her poor (almost) 7 year old daughter put up with him following and mimicking her every move for well over an hour!
I picked up some great 2nd hand books for Asher the other day and one for me. "Shopaholic and Sister" when I saw it was less than $3 I figured why not - I will just hand it on to someone else. I had like the Shopaholic movie so figured it would be good... well... she kinda annoyed me at first but as I read it, it actually made me think about what I spend money on. I know she is a total lost cause for compulsive buying but really, when I was at the shops today I was looking at things and then thinking if i really needed them... I mean honestly we don't really need that much anyway. Now if only I could snap my fingers and everything extra, excess and not really needed, would leave my house!
Anyway, I hope you are all doing well and I will be back to it soon...

Ahhh. So that's who my girls got it from! They are both with sore throats, runny noses and high temps this weekend. So it's pretty miserable here too. I can tell by my tired body and tingly throat that it'll come my way next! Oh well. A good book is needed for me too maybe!
Hope you feel better soon- colds are never fun. :-(
I LOVE buying cheap books from op-shops and places like that. SO many gems, for so cheap!
