Ho hum, ho hum, some days I wonder why I am a mum!

With a title like that I'm sure I have interested you! Hahaha! Well to be honest, I am in the middle of cooking dinner, the plainest of meals... spag bog! We haven't had it for ages and I am glad to have it to fall back on. (I kinda suck at cooking a bit) However, I look around my mess I call home and wonder how I got here... the mess I see, now that is me, the toys I see and the boy throwing them about is a little stranger to me still some days. I am a wife, a mum, an aunty and a sister-in-law! Weird... I have never really processed what all this means... so I guess that is why I am letting my fingers type wildly whilst this is all pouring out of my head.

Anyway, today was a lovely day - albiet it wasn't very productive, although I did manage to throw a mountain of boxes of rubbish that has been paitently waiting for a trip to the bin for about 2 weeks now. As I was saying, today was lovely. Playgroup this morning complete with chatty mums, thought provoking encouragement, yummy morning tea and tea and coffee!

Before we left this morning, Asher was watching "Yo Gabba Gabba" and playing his xylophone along with the music and after he'd finished he clapped himself and then said, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Oh it was funny, and sweet! Also, as I watched I noticed that the show has some cute songs by Indie artists... which I am now in the process of researching to find some new tunes for myself.

Then this afternoon, totally out of the blue I got a call from my brother-in-law asking if he could bring his kids over for a play. So, that was really nice and my sister-in-law dropped in on her way home from school as well. I hadn't seen them in months even though they just live 10mins away!

*sniff, sniff* Ooops gotta rush. Dinner is burning, see I told you I suck at this... arrrrggghhhh!!!!
