I, like most people, do love rain! I do, really. I love waking up to that lovely sound, and falling asleep to it and hearing during the day... BUT just not all morning, day and night for days on end though! When we first moved into this house we quickly discovered that our roof in our laundry leaked, which we eventually got fixed. However, every time it rained I used to get worried about it getting worse and coming in the roof in other places. Thankfully this has never happened.
I also get nervous driving in the rain, especially if I am the passenger. I have had some near misses on wet road and so am extrememly warey in the wet - just ask Brad!
However, there is something cleansing and relaxing about rain sticking it out for a few days... Even now, it has taken a breather and I am already missing the sound of it.
The best part of having loads of rain, is when the sun finally comes out again, everything is clean and green again!

Oops spoke too soon, here it is again... ask me again in a few days if this keeps up - I may have gone completely mad!
