Signing off for the year...

Well, I thought before the year ticked over into the next, that I should catch you all up with our goings on in case you missed anything.  This year went by in a massive blur for me.  Considering I was pregnant for nearly 8 months of it and then went into a zombie like state (which I am currently still in FYI), after Zion's birth I think that a blur of a year is ok.  Although, lots of things have happened.

Asher completed Kindergarten and learnt lots of things along the way. He has also grown about 5cm or so in the year and he is no longer my baby boy who I could carry in from the car when asleep.  He is my helper (when he feels like it) and my constant little companion.  Although this brings a tear to my eye when I think about him going off to start Prep in just a few short weeks. (I am totally not ready for that!)  Brad and I have journeyed together this year through some rough times and uncertain times but have come out stronger than ever.  Then there is our newest addition to the family... Zion.  Well he has grown almost double his birth weight in 4 short months and now has his first two teeth through! I think he is going to be a real goer like his big brother and keep me on my toes, but I am loving being a mummy to two little men! (Who needs a girl!)

Next year is shaping up to be massive and I cannot believe that my birthday is about to roll around again and my big boy starts prep and my baby will turn 1, all in the same year.  Where has the time flown?  As I write we are currently "On Holiday" (at home).  Whilst I wouldn't recommend a stay at home holiday, having a baby doesn't lend itself to a relaxing away from home holiday.  However, it is my prayer that we can relax, enjoy ourselves and regain enough strength to head into another year!
