041: dreaming again

Will the clutter never leave me??? I threw out a box with those packing beans in it today - who knows why I was keeping it... I think I wasn't keeping it on purpose, I just hadn't thrown it out!

Mind you, I was busy with things today. As for Asher, he enjoyed sitting back and relaxing!

Oh and we had a lovely family play with Asher's trains (none of which he would actually share- yet we all enjoyed this time playing), also Asher and I played Poko games on the computer for a bit this morning to. He is very much into Poko at the moment which leads me to why I was also so busy.

I have decided to have a handmade Christmas this year and make all the cousin's presents and a few for Asher. One of which (for Asher) will be a monkey called Mr Murphy (who is the same as Poko's). I have had to print out a few patterns and combine them for the type of monkey I want, as there is nothing close to it out there!

I went to Spotlight today to get a few bits and pieces for the things I am making, and I discovered that my judgement about things there was good (after short texts from my sewing guru, Kt!) and so therefore I am grateful for the hidden sewer/crafter inside of me!

FYI here is my list of things I want to make...
2 Aprons
3 Monkeys
5 Crowns
4 Gingerbread Trees
Paper Doll chains for the Christmas Tree
1 Farm house (Possibly)
4 tulle skirts
1 Knights Sword
and some time to shop for the rest of the gifts!!!

We should have a no-kids crafting day one Sat before Christmas. I've been wanting to do one for ages... bring your own projects and do them in the company of others! Fun eh? I certainly need some more time to craft!
