042 & 043:another double edition

I have gotten rid of many wonders from the fridge, don't you hate that stench that comes from something that is off in there and you cannot work out what it is... I still have that - may need to do some more digging in there... (shudder)

Yesterday Asher found a little spot in his room during a game of hide and seek which he (with some help) turned into a new little bed for himself.

Also,Last night we were invited to some friends house for dinner and as this is only the 2nd time we have been invited for dinner since we have lived in QLD, I think Asher behaved extremely well. Our lovely hosts even made sure our dessert was Asher friendly, which he loved (ice-cream with lollies, marshmallows and freckles. Also, he had his first attempt at playing piano and loved playing pool (without a cue) whilst all four of us adults watched! It was a great night! (Well done Jeff & Alice)

Yesterday I was grateful for being invited to dinner and for the words the Lord spoke to me at church.

monday

I got rid of quite a few bits and pieces in my stock cupboard (I am a Mary Kay consultant) and now have more room for product.

Today Asher woke up with this AWESOME mohawk hair style - I didn't have to put gel in it or anything!!! I loved it so much I let him wear it all day. Its amazing what a shower before can do for good!

This morning we went for a play with our friends, Jordan and Mary (well Jordan and Asher played- Mary and I drank coffee), due to traffic we took an awfully long short cut through Samford which turned out to be quite amazing and beautiful. Then this afternoon we had the delightful Kelly sisters over so their mummy could get some stuff done!

Today I was grateful for the time spent with Mary - its always nice to have another mum's perspective on things and also the amazing scenery around and through Samford!
