I see a girl in a frilly dress, wet, cold and cowering in the dark - longing for warm inviting sunlight.
I see Jesus coming and picking her up, wrapping her in his arms and brining her to join him in the sunlit meadow.
She is stretched (on the ground) toward him bowing and crying tears washing His feet.
She is broken in heart and in spirit. She has nothing to offer except the shell of who she is - as she's already given Him her heart. Although not control of it.
In her tightly clenched fists are the keys to her heart (for control) and in the other her will.
She slowly releases both at His feet but she doesn't dare look up at him. She is bruised, ashamed and in pain.
"Lord help." she wimpers in a whisper'.
"I'm sorry."she says, but she knows that sorry isn't enough.
"I want to dance with You again," she blubblers, "I love You."
He helps her up and cleans her off and wraps her in His arms once again. She feels His tears drop onto her head as she nuzzles into his chest.
"I delight in you" He says.
Fresh tears and emotion grips her at these words.
"Really?" she squeaks.
"I delight in you my beautiful daughter, you captivate me with your beauty and love. I've called for you and you have not replied. I've waited for you and now you've returned. Please stay and walk with me every day."
"But how?" she asks.
"I'm always with you, right here." He answers.
