Ooh! Lovely! You could maket hese into really nice embroideries! The bottom one you could add heaps of branches, and different shades of brown etc.
And with the top one you'd need to work out how to show the leaves on the tree- either an outline and then just highlight small leaves within the canopy, or do leaves similar to on mine (swirls), or do one continuous line like how I drew here: http://taliacarbis.com/2010/01/23/trees-art
